Alicia Keys vs. Toto
Alicia Keys' second single off her album "The Element of Freedom", "Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart", has hit the radio stations rather hard lately.
The song is fine, but doesn't it sample a lot from Toto's "Stop Loving You"?

Personally, I thought of the eighties band Chicago. Perhaps this is a song that samples all sorts of personal memories?
Gotta agree with mestmets. Alicia's drumming at 0:10 is obviously taken from Toto's opening at 0:26. Further, the background theme at 0:45 in Sleeping is heard several times in Stop Loving You.
And on it goes. BTW, does Alicia have the same hairdresser as the singer in Toto?

Agree with mestmets. KD Lang was credited on The Rolling Stones' "Anybody seen my baby" and I think TOTO should be treated same.
